The couplings to connect pumps with engines
Due to the angular and lateral misalignment, between the shafts of gravel pump and engine, a self adjusting, elastic coupling has to be used to protect the engine and the gravel pump from the destructive vibrations. In addition, the gravel pump, while pumping the gravel-water slurry, generates the vibrations that should be isolated from the engine, to protect it. The last issue is the sudden blockage of the gravel pump, that can and will happen, when an oval stone enters the gravel pump and orients itself so it will jam the impeller. If the coupling does not disconnects the gravel pump from the engine a resulting stress will, for sure, destroy the engine.
Elastic, self aligning coupling with 6 to 12 belts to connect the gravel or HP water pump with the electric or internal combustion engine. The EE coupling can be used to connect any shafts that have an angular and/or lateral misalignment.
Elastic coupling with 12 belts to connect the 6 or 8-inch gravel pump or HP 6x4-inch water pump with the electric engine.
Elastic coupling with 12 belts to connect the 6 or 8-inch gravel pump or 6x4-inch HP water pump with the diesel engine.
Elastic FE coupling with 12 belts set on the flywheel of a diesel MWM engine to connect a 6-inch gravel pump or 6x4-inch HP water pump.
The pump, gravel or high pressure and, in majority of the cases, the internal combustion diesel engine are set on the frame.
